We are confident that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and that it is a revelation from God given to men (2 Tim. 3:15-17).
We believe that there is but one living and true God (Deut. 6:4; Is. 45:5-7; 1 Cor. 8:4), an infinite, all knowing spirit (John 4:24), perfect in all his attributes, one in essence, eternally existing in three Persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; 1 John 5:7).
We acknowledge God, who is the first person of the Trinity, as our heavenly Father (Eph. 4:6) who is the creator of all things (Gen. 1:1-31; Eph. 3:9).
We claim Jesus Christ, who is the second person of the Trinity, as Lord (Phil. 2:9-11) and Savior (Phil. 3:20; 1 John 4:14). We believe that Jesus Christ was God incarnate (John 1:1,14) who accomplished our redemption through the shedding of His blood and sacrificial death on the cross and that His death was both voluntary and substitutionary (John 10:15; 1 Pet. 2:24).
We recognize the Holy Spirit as the third member of the Trinity whose purpose is to convict (John 16:8), comfort (John 14:16), guide (Rom. 8:14) and to administer spiritual gifts to the church (1 Cor. 12:4-11; Eph. 4:11-12).
We believe that man was created by God and was both good and upright (Gen. 1:26-31). But through Adam's voluntary transgression, man fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Gen. 3:17; Rom. 5:12-21).
We believe that salvation is a love-gift of God by grace on the basis of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, the merit of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works (John 1:12; Eph. 1:7; Eph. 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:18-19).
We believe that our lives must reflect that we belong to God through the continual pursuit of holiness (Rom. 12:1-2; 2 Cor. 7:1; Heb. 12:14).
We believe that all who place their faith in Jesus Christ are immediately placed by the Holy Spirit into one united spiritual body called the church (1 Cor. 12:12-13).
We believe that as believers in Jesus Christ, we are to take his message to all nonbelievers and to make him known to everyone, everywhere (Matt. 28:19).
We believe and wait with anticipation of the promised return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (John 14:2-3).
